When I first discovered wraps, I decided that cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce would go nicely together in them. So I tried it out, and it’s been a favourite ever since.
Ingredients.
1 wrap,
2 rashers of bacon,
A good handful of grated cheese of your choice,
A good squeeze of barbecue sauce.
Method.
1. Cook the bacon in a grill or frying pan.
2. While it is cooking, grate the cheese and place it roughly in the middle of the wrap.
3. Once the bacon is cooked, and while it is still hot, place on top of the cheese.
4. Add the barbecue sauce and fold the wrap.
Notes.
1. Bacon rashers in the UK are larger than strips, so use about the same amount as you would in a bacon sandwich.
2. If barbecue sauce isn’t a favourite, caramelised onion chutney works really well.
3. I know the traditional way is to roll a wrap, but I actually find it’s easier to fold it into more of a square.
